yes!! i found it weird how everyone was just brushing over that. the author didnt even address it after, and even turned the story around to make the readers feel bad for the seme for being an omega that was being tied to the bond that HE himself decided to form without the uke's consent.
i think i accidentally disliked this but yeah it doesnt sit right with me either, it really felt as though kaede was being forced into it, and the end notes mentioning that the chapter contains rape just made it worse. his attitude towards azusa also made a sudden 180, all very confusing imo.
Honestly the rape didn’t really bother me since it’s so common in yaoi but I really hated the manipulation after the bite. We were supposed to be empathetic about omegas and what this means for them but I could honestly give less fucks, the alpha was obviously forced into the relationship. It affected him more so because of his moms experience but I just want to butcher up the omega.
