Really? I feel like we definitely see it. Rix' psyche is a mess. Nuah feels responsible but he's not human and has trouble understanding the complexity of Rix' trauma. The behavior and thoughts Rix has are full of shame and self loathing. He clearly said he dislikes sex, he may even be ace... but it could also be the lack of agency. He's struggling with the fact that he does like Nuah and does enjoy sex physically but then he hates himself for feeling that way. I think there's a lot to it that the story does show. I really want to know what happens once the curse is lifted.
for a story that centers around the topic of rape, it does a really shitty job of showing the severity of it.
