yeah, i feel that the only difference is that she spoke up
but that is just putting even more blame on her ( if she spoke up from the beginning it wouldn't have happened to her )
since the original just like the 2 knew how to cook she just didn't show it in fear for her life
i think they thought she acted like that was because of her bad personality. She was being mistreated but because she can’t tell them she act like that.
i don’t get the author. if the brothers and grandfather were going to act so protective, why didn’t they act like this after her first suicide attempt??? she literally tried to hang herself and they didn’t try to find out what caused her to have such a terrible mental state? if the author was just going to make them act like this now, what’s the point of making them act like shitty family in the beginning of the story? that was such a dumb and meaningless plot point. and now, the readers don’t like the family because of how they used to treat our suicidal and depressed main character, it’s so saddening.
