Sleep with a face mask

I sometimes sleep with a face mask or medical mask on especially when i have flu or block nose coz i have to breathe with my mouth and if i dint wear it my mouth and throat would be super dry in the morning. Is it weird? Has anyone else done it? Is it a bad thing?
