Well it's your way to appreciate it but for me it's big "no". But I will keep reading it for the fl, I want to see her becoming more and more confident.
Oh well maybe it's a problem of language. English isn't my mother tongue and in my own mother tongue, cussing make the boy appear just bad educated to me. A little bit is okay but not as much as the ML can say :') I mean, myself, I do some cussing some times but seriously, a man doing it so openly before a woman erase all the sexyness and sweetness of the character. So yeah, even in english, it does appear so uncool to me x)
I think that's exactly what the author was trying to convey for his character that's why his dialogues are full of cusses. Since he's a commoner and a war hero, he needs to be rough around the edges and crude to create a contrast to the ML's idea of how the nobility like the FL. who seems to be more "dainty" compared to other noblewomen since she has special circumstances due to trauma from long time physical abuse. I think this is one of the common patterns in the romance genre, the opposite attracts trope or something.

Since we're just in chapter 8, who knows maybe he will have a character development along with the FL. Hopefully, he grows calmer while the FL's personality grows stronger. If that happens they'll still maintain the balance of their characters. At least that's what I'm hoping for, I don't know what will happen if the FL remains the way she is. I hope she'll get over her trauma.

Well I don't have a problem with the fl. I fact I have literal problems with ML's way of speaking. Can he stop with his "f*ck" and "damn"? I'm really not of fan of this kind of talking manner.
