Why the hell is a carpet under the bathtub?!!!

Since it’s a standing tub, and it’s in the middle of the room, they have a carver under it so 1. It would be easier the slide than to pick up and move, 2. So when you get out you don’t slip and fall. Atleast that what I think it’s there for.
