
Yep the furniture and architecture around the characters is always so super detailed, it's nice-looking but at the same time kinda too distracting, and the strong coloring doesn't help...
For example, that wall in the garden where the mc and the maid where taking a stroll in the latest chapter (chap 29) felt like it was coming straight for me (I suddenly felt like I could sympathize a bit with the early xx century viewers of"The Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat Station", who ran away in a panic because the filmed image of the train coming right at them felt so very real).
Me: *showing my fists* "You tryina pick a fight with me, back there, you foolish wall?? Just bring it! I got a wrecking ball with your name right on it!!"
How is this art so good but also so bad? I'm baffled.
