Heh - it may have been eight volumes, but I don't think a huge amount of time has passed for them- perhaps less than a year? (Aki was with Fei for quite a while but rest seems to have covered very little time - but I could be wrong.

I think it's been two years in their time (which would seem about right if you consider all they've been through since then). I remember seeing in one of the places in manga that Sensei wrote Asami is now 37 and Akihito is 25?

Hmm...I thought that was his age in the crossover manga - where he guides those boys around the temple - and to me it seemed like he was more accepting of the relationship there, but I could be wrong, and am too tired at the moment to fact check - so I bow to your knowledge - hehehe

I think it might have been in one of Akihito's "office dreams" extras so don't go dirtying your knees just yet :P

But two years does seem about right, so who knows?

Even though IF 20 volumes already passed but the "real" time in vf is stll less than a year, I would still say "Akihito still confused about their relationship while Asami is so confident that Aki loves him". I ddn't talk abt their real time. lol.

I think it is the only BL manga that already passed 5 volumes (once again I don't talk about the real time on manga), but we still don't have ILU words plus one of the character still unsure about his posistion THOUGH it is so obvious they love each other. lmao.

I bet Aki is still 23 and Asami 35 in manga

IF we see snow in Vf, it means a year will be passed. lol (I think PIA arc is in Autumn season based on their clothes while Love Prize 4 was in.. summer?)

That's kind of what I was thinking. At the beginning of volume three, Aki is in a sleeveless tank and his friends are complaining about him making hot pot when it's so hot outside. And then in the "volume eight" chapters we're reading now, it's cold. In chapter 50, Akihito tells Asami "I made coffee. It's cold outside." And everyone is wearing heavy coats.

So between Akihito returning from the tropical island after Naked Truth and what's going on now, it can't have been more than a year, could it? He can't have been dithering over his feelings (which is the bulk of volumes six and seven) for a full year.

He - if we go by the example of Junjou Romantica - it could just as easily be four years (not that it is) but Misaki is still dithering - more than four years later! And because Asami is a hardnose who does not express many emotions verbally - Aki could certainly still feel a little uncertain. (although being a photographer you would think he would notice the tenderness in some of Asami's expressions and such)

That's true. It just doesn't seem like we've seen that much passage of time, though, in volumes six, seven and now eight. All the events lead right into each other.

True - I don't think all that much time has passed either - kind of like the Simpsons - hahaha, but with senei being kind of vague on timelines - who can really say? We need to find where is tells us their current ages.

I remember I read shounen manga about a supernatural teacher on elementary school. 30 vol passed, but it's only a year on their time xD
