I think the author didn't deliver it very well through the manhwa but we can see that it created great impact on Jake's mentality. Tbh,Sean wanted to forgive him bec it's best for their child and for his peace.Sean wanted to start again and that's why he said he bid good bye to his 19 yr old self. He wanted to move on from the pain ans start anew. Sean knows he's very much in love with Jake,their dead child wanted them to start again
I don't know why so many people, especially from asia, still think like the world before we had social sciences and stuff...but it is NOT best for a child, if the parents are together, even though they are toxic together. The child sees and feels that. IT is way more important to have a stable place, stable food and a happy parent....or both parents kinda like normal to communicate with.....or even just a single parent that is loving....than have both parent, but a dysfuncitoning family. really people need to stop acting like humans did not already deeply research education....as if we do not have major fields like pedagoy and psychology and stuff....for real....this would be an extremely bad "model" for the kid....a father like this...ew....
i might get hate for this, idc. Jake doesnt deserve to be happy with Sean again. I dont think i need to say why either. The man literally attempted murder, killed his lovers baby. RAPED the guy and after that pretended he didnt exist and then decides to force himself back into Seans life because he felt like it? Not to mention, when they met again at his mansion he tried to have sex with him on the floor in front of his gaurds. Then lies to Emily because kids were bullying her, takes away another thing Sean wanted, the chance to tell his daughter the truth. OML its endless, hes selfish to the core.
