turns out it's a cool game console, all white and futuristic and shit. I would definitely buy it if I still spent time on video games.

The Dreamcast was a game console made by Sega. It sold in competition with the original Xbox in 1998 -1999. I still have mine. The games were some of the highest quality graphics for the time. Now, they kind of have that arcade Donkey-Kong appeal. LOL
I don't think cheating is so unforgivable but in this case you would think that there would be no hope for them. I think the dad's character was inconsistent. One minute he cared and cried and was all "I aint letting you go!!" and feeling guilty over causing hiroki to get like that, and the other he cheated. I don't think someone would actually do that. Either you give a fuck or you don't.
On a side note, what the heck is a dream cast?
