How is Hyesung a stranger? He’s not some random at a bar that was shit talking Chowon to Kyungsoo. His husband(and somehow his now too aside from Kyungsoo)’s best friend was kidnapped and nearly gangraped.
I get the past needs to be let go and Chowon is seemingly trying to change for the better, but horrible things still happened. He broke a chick’s leg at Dojun’s job just because he was hyper jealous. That’s not healthy.
Hyesung was just somebody introduced by Chowons inlaws. No interaction whatsoever happened between the 2 of them. Therefore a stranger.
It is better to know your partner's dirty laundry early. It better when you are still starting the relationship. Makes it easier to get over it I guess. But this would have been better if the story came from Chowon not from a stranger.
