Wait I’m sort of confused didnt Arwin say he’s stuck at a bird cage of his own choosing, so does that imply he finally feels free/happy??

You know what you wrote in a big paragraph made me feel a bit more better with the ending. I finished reading it yesterday and it left me so empty, I didn’t know how to feel, because so much happened. Anyways I really like the way you viewed the ending, I will have to agree with what you said :)

This story gives me all sorts of pain and left me feeling bittersweet for the both of them. I think the story ended nicely and yes it sucks to know that Arwin is still stuck at his bird cage and did everything for Anton because of love and Anton only wanted Arwin but he has to fulfill his father’s last wish which is to get married though i think he could’ve went for Arwin but there are just certain circumstances that couldn’t be avoided and Anton was traumatized too okay he felt like he owe a big thing to his father despite the shitty things that had happened because in the end he wouldn’t have met Arwin without his dad.Anton and Arwin are both selfish with each other and are trying to live through what happened. Maybe in their own time they will be able to get their freedom and probably live in a cottage just as how Anton imagined. For the mean time i think both of them are going through a healing process and trying do and restart things slowly.
