He is actually a powerful sorcerer or wizard of sorts. According to the spoilers he's going to lose control when he thinks she's dead and destroy the castle or something like that.

I don't really like characters like Nadricka. They just feel kind of... Basic. Of course, he deserves to be happy, but I'm not really a hardcore shipper. I think I'd rather ship her with anyone else, to be honest.
