I agree, however i feel that he could reign in her ambition just by climbing up the ranks. Because her ambition isn't necessarily her wanting to take power but her wanting to gain power. Power isn't exclusive so power can be very easily shared.
But her "ambition" might be to 'just marry him.
If she maybe met him once as a child and saw his potential she might want to marry him (like all love sick girls do at some point in life)
her ambition could also be for the sake of her territory, Plus Ars is well know about his contributions to his territory so she just might want to have his talents in her arsenal just like Ars does when he sees talented people. I don't think she is a bad person, Going by her skills there is probably some things she can't do right now without Ars's help

Same thoughts! I think Ars is only fearful bc he doesn't know what exactly her ambition means, but if it turns out to be nothing sinister, him and his fiancee would make a power couple one day
However, her ambition can cause her to become a "Lady Macbeth" type of figure, where she commits atrocities in the name of ambition for Ars...
perhaps, I also went back to the first chapter and she was in the group of Ars close friends and followers so it is safe to assume that they are on the same side
But Ars' father's warning keeps echoing in my mind...that sometimes the capable pple you choose to surround yourself with are the most dangerous...
Yea but that's expected already since he's a leader. There's always going to be the likelihood of every other capable person under Ars to betray him, not just his fiancee.
I gotta say, everyone seems to have an issue with the fiancee, but I think she is just what he needs. He has an all-rounder with Ritsu, a mage with Charlotte, and a great strategist with Rosel, what he lacks is someone who is a political powerhouse, and a legal powerhouse. His fiancee covers at least one of those skills in spades. Her ambition is worrisome, I still think she possess a skill set that he needs.
