I know right. But it happened in real life. I watched a documentary about it long time ago. I forgot the name of the country the men raped a woman and the woman knows that person if she go to police for report the guy can get away from the rape charge if he's going to marry the woman that he raped it's unfair right? even the family forced girl for marriage so sad.
The notion of women as objects, she's considered 'pure' if she's a virgin and in my country there are orthodox people so caught with this 'pure' theory that they make brides go through medical tests to check her virginity.
It's not even the men alone, the older women who are supposed to be our backups would be leading this disgusting practice every time because they can't even think of going against society and getting shunned. It's really sad to see girls and women being prey to even their own relatives and the magnanimity of this situation is not even recognised.

I donno why 'hurt you in the past' is 'rape' most of the time. Rape is not a plot device to test the feelings and commitment of one character to another. Rape is not something you overlook just because you develop feelings for them (how do you even develop feelings for a r–). Anyway very nice manga.
