First Couple Who?

I don’t hate the first couple, but tbh the second couple’s eating them up and I don’t even know their names. It’s not a hard rule that side/second couples’ stories shouldn’t kick off until the primary/first couples’ concluded, but in instances like this where the former is clearly overshadowing the latter it may’ve been wiser to do so. I just think it’s because the second couple has a more grounded conflict and solutions, with a closet case discovering his sexuality and a hot, more experienced dude willing to open that door for him. I will say of the first couple that I feel for Chris and how his own kinks that rely on trust were exploited by a former abusive partner makes for a compelling conflict on whether to believe in love again, which I feel is undermined by the Seme’s psychic powers which already make it a certainty they’ll be together removing Chris’ agency and the seme’s actions less brave or authentic.
