I don’t think he was attempting suicide, I think he was having some sort of panic attack and that meds was to help him, but in a fit of panic he probably didn’t take it correctly.
I think it was an accidental overdose. My take is Chowon didn't want to scare hot boy (forgot name) so he was taking a lot of pills to be "normal"
