But It was twisted. According to me it was and it maybe different view for another person but the point remains that the author can really write good stories.
I love her stories so no doubt in that.
the only part I found twisted was the kid.
nothing twisted about the two brothers tho, it was about two human being in love but suffer and feel guilty about it, just because our society dictates that! (which is the real tragedy)

anatomy , proportions , expressions , perspective , even backgrounds and buildings they're all spot on!

side note: also its interesting how most people interpret 'realistic' as 'twisted'!!
