Not sure what you meant by last events, but I assume that you refer to last few chapters. If yes, here is my explanation:
So basically, LeeGyung asked Director Kim to let him meet Chairman Shin => Kim thought LeeGyung would kill Chairman Shin because of what Shin did to Hyungdo. But LeeGyung didn't kill Chairman Shin himself, but just let Chairman Shin know that Kim betrayed him.
=> Director Kim had 2 choices left: 1 is to kill Chairman Shin, so at least he can save Charlie, otherwise Shin would kill both of them as they betrayed him,
2rd choice is not to kill Shin, but as I said, Shin will def would kill both of them.
=> So Drt Kim killed Shin, he got arrested of course, but before the police came, he managed to send Charlie somewhere. But the thing is now Charlie is unable to live on his own really because of all his sh*tty mental things etc, so being abandoned on his own is considered the worst punishment for Chairlie.
if you meant the last few scenes end of chapter 59, Hyungdo just basically had a flashback to last 2 years when he was forced to be a prostitute, he blamed LeeGyung. But whenever December (winter) comes, he would miss LG instead because that cold reminded him of how he fell in love with LG.
