You serve jail time mainly coz "they haven't committed the crime" or "that is still murder coz capital punishment is illegally" or "murder is murder" not considering the emotional trauma and that it is self defense also if the rapi8t was a young man "he could've been a doctor" that would be scary if he was and he would do it again he can't be one if he has s3x offender on his record Or rap3
