Unfortunately Korea is like this, many adults will choose to ignore or support gangs like this.

Bullying and gangs are very prominent even in high end schools, it’s very easy to collect money from these high schoolers since they’re so much kids that are being bullied, even girls do it as well, even worse.

The motto of many Asian countries is to ignore and simply continue on, it’s very selfish and a big problem.
If you see someone getting beaten up, no one is going to help you, and that’s the sad reality of Korea.

But come on! At least let there be some appearance of adults!
