.....

Spoon-nim doens't cut out the part where Claude agrees to go to the Masquerade Ball which will be Athy's 15th birthday part BEFORE he gets his memories.
I love spoon's art - a master of the pen. But I don't like how she gives more screetime to Jeanette than the novel and has changed details just to interject Jeanette's character.

Yeah rn I can't even see her as the villainess bruh, Claude brother give me so much pain too, I pity him even more that jenet (if u read the novel can you tell me what was he like in it ?)

frankly i find it more interesting and it feels like it's really building up to a climax. spoon's making each character more 3-dimensional than the novel itself. i live for it

Don't get me wrong I LOVE spoon's work in this adaption and the art but this is my only peev is that really good parts of the novel was sacrificed for the sake of giving Jeanette's character more "development" or whatever. And even with that it still doesn't work because Jeanette is rather a dull character. Wasn't it enough in Athy's first life Jeanette hogged the spotlight? lol

That's the problem it shouldn't build up this quick. Parts of where Athy and Claude relationship builds up and Claude being the one desperate to make an effort has been skipped and watered down (or looks like it will be) for the sake of making it about Jeanette's POV.
