That's true Janette was more of a victim now than Athy and the fact that she's the only one who has no idea what's goimg on proves her innocence but i have a feeling that her jealousy and envy will consume her. But what's more surprising is Lucas involvement i didn't expect that he's one of the variables to trigger this mess.
I've actually held on and didn't read the novel, I will read it when the manhwa is over.
They said there are 4 released chapters for S2 opening so hopefully this cliffhanger doesn't last long.
Now with some things being revealed my ships are getting complicated.
Lucas was the trigger for Anastacius to essentially crack and ruin Claude's life to what it has been until now, even if not intentionally, now that Lucas has developed the emotions he had lost he'll feel guilty towards Athy since Claude and her were killed by Anastacius once already.
While Ezekiel is part of the family that brought Janette and Anastacius into their lives and his father is cunning so it's also hard to trust him.
As for Janette, we all have our own pov but I think most of us agree that she is a victim to a lot of ploys and she is the only one who isn't aware of any of them. From my pov she is only a victim to a certain extent because at this point she should realize that wishy washy things are not going to change things and she can't blame people for failing her expectations when she is just sitting there in a daze. She doesn't really have a justification for having negative feelings towards Athy and Claude
