Think about it, Athy knows whats going to happen if Jeannete shows her true identity （￣へ￣）, and Athy doesnt want to go through that, like boi, I'd do the fricken same (－.－)
But think about it its not the same Athy now is more stronger and got father love, got Lucas she can take Jeannete close and talk to her to change everything the situation its not the same it used to be in the story Athy read.
Yeah I can empathize with Jeannette but I saw a comment further up about how you can’t blame a snake for being poisonous but that doesn’t mean you should let it bite you. Like it’s not like athy is being mean to her but she knows what could happen if Jeannette is allowed to live with them and integrate into the palace
Yeah but she is still VERY aware of what could happen. And she is not aware of all the details and still gets weary about Jeannette, remember Jeannette is the reason she got killed and lost what little love from her father she had, yet she still became friends with her, knowing that history could repeat itself.
The main reason why athy tries to keep jennette away from claude as possible is bcs of the black magic jennette holds. Jennette was born out of black magic. Both her parents used black magic thats why her getting close to claude will cause claude to die. That why lucas said "The less you suffer, the closer you are to die" bcs lucas knows that Jennette getting rid of claude's severe headaches is bcs of the black magic that surrounds her. Athy knew that and tried to keep her away from claude bcs she doesnt want him to die but she still lets her see claude right? its not that shes pushing her away, shes just mainly trying to draw a line between them for their own good. It maybe not good for jennette but sooner or later jennette will know her own origins. In the first timeline when athy died, did jennete do anything to her? No. Did she try to protect her? No. Even if athy treated her nice and treated her like a sister eventho she was treated unfairly, did u see jennete do the same thing to her and even try to protect her? No. Its just like saying that she uses her to get what she wants and that athy is merely just some tool (im reffering to the first timeline btw) and athy knew all that but did u see athy ever try to get revenge for her? or try to hate on her? No. Infact she even invites her to drink tea w claude and ride boat w claude eventho she knew that it could harm claude and eventho she knows that claude is not her real dad, but she still does that. Why? Bcs she doesnt blame jennette for anything. Jennette was used and she wasnt aware of it. This is the least she can do for jennette and no futher than that bcs it will cause troubles for both jennette and claude.

Why Athy doeasnt love Jeannete? She always wants to take her away? Jeannete is innocent she loves Athy and people are using her. She is like a toy, nobody cares about her feelings they are just using her. THATS SAD
