The storyline is going somewhere but the romance is like a roller coaster. Like am I the only one that is sorta losing interest but still reading this to see if the plot will change somewhere?

Sammmeee what happened to being a cool knight? Mc is just acting like a whiny damsel in distress waiting for the emperor to save her and frankly there's more politic talk than romance happening
