Now now calm down, we don't know exactly what era this is. There are tons of eras where the the focus was on the hair and accessories not the dress. In the last chapter her maid (i think) suggested she should wear a necklace that wasn't as plain. But this doesn't make sense bc everyones hair and jewelry is pretty boring.
If you were to look at everyones dress it gets even more complicated, there's frills, big bows, off the shoulder, puff sleeved, and bustle dresses. So basically the artist has taken so many nice designs from different eras and put them on everyone else and has given the main characters (the women) dull outfits compared to everyone else to make them stand out.
When really it should've been the other way around! I completely agree with you! WHY GIVE INSIGNIFICANT CHARACTERS GORGEOUS DRESS DESIGNS AND NOT THE MAINS!!!
I mean i do like the green dress but like it's just so boring even with that like ruffle fluff part
I know i'm not some historical accurate whatever people call them person and i don't draw but i know how hard it is BUT why? Why the fuck is her dress so plain? And she said she dressed up well hell nah no layer?no ribbon?frills?lace?any trace of embroidery? No? Why????
