Um, perhaps because of attitudes PRECISELY LIKE YOURS???? Blame the victim for not reporting to the cops. Blame the victim FOR reporting to the cops. But NEVER actually task the person responsible with the ACTUAL responsibility. I think people like THAT are 'weenies' not strong people like Yurina. KTBN.
If the victims don't report it, how will the criminals be stopped. It's not victim blaming, it's wondering why a clear crime is not reported and the perpetrators punished. These are not pranks. These are crimes. I want the persons who committed the crimes to be forced to face up to their deeds and be punished.
Because they will do it to someone else. Look up the Junko Furuta famous case: all those people knew a girl was being tortured to death--and did nothing. No one called the cops anonymously even. And that girl died horribly. Yes, every person who didn't report it is a murderer too.

The ending ruined it for me. I mean, they don't call the cops? They don't report the psychopath who kidnapped and almost raped her or the psycho-Rino who watched him being beaten and ordered her to be attacked/kidnapped/raped/etc?
