She is sixteen, it’s not an excuse that she’s too trusting, she has been coerced her entire life into thinking she belongs to the royal family. The brother has been there for a while and has always proved to her he is someone she can trust.

Hell was paved with good intention my dear. I don't blame Jeanette completely, but I don't think she is innocent either. Remember before when Claude in coma after saving Athy, Jeanette asking the white head about the Emperor and Athy condition but the white head that are the head of the nobles didn't even know so she should know that Imperial family condition is a classified information, yeah she is 14 but no matter how sheltered she was if is she is using her brain a little bit she wouldn't carelessly told a stranger that his majesty is in poor health, even if magic doesn't exist such information would be dangerous for risk of assassination attempt.

I blame her for going around telling people she doesn't even know his identity other than he is 'mister guest' that the Emperor is in poor health. What is her excuse? Let say, she doesn't know magic and curse exist, but assassination isn't a stranger thing, in that era even the noble house facing such danger, even more so for the imperial family. Let say she is living in a safe house that it didn't cross her mind that an Assassin even exist but there is something called newspaper even in that era, she isn't locked up, ostracized or something, that only mean she is ignorant.
I can agree that she shouldn’t be sharing sensitive information about the royal family but Anastacius is someone who knows her secret identity (I mean this in that he was allowed to know about her jewel eyes) so she does trust him enough to tell him. And she is supposed to be relaying all information to Roger.
I just think more of the people who are hating on Jeanette should see this isn’t on her. I get she’s annoying, I understand the frustration that’s she’s being used by other people but the real villains of this story are the adults. I don’t mean you specifically btw.
