Okay

Chowon is finally realizing that he needs to work for that second chance, no matter how terrifying it is to do so. HE wasn't shocked Kyungsoo didn't visit him, because he knew he'd just told Kyungsoo - to his face - that his ex "was still his" and basically denied doing anything wrong in a bout of mania. We know this, but Kyungsoo does not. Kyungsoo wasn't wrong to not visit him. He knew he'd go weak and want to immediately forgive Chowon anything. Love and sympathy shouldn't give abuse a pass. As I said at the start though, I think now Chowon deserves that second chance. Cuz he's EARNING it by stepping up and APOLOGIZING. He clearly is now finally trying to better himself. And that's what matters here.

Regardless, I feel bad for Kyungsoo getting debased here for taking a firm stance against abuse. Don't give anyone a pass to abuse others just cuz you love them. Not unless they cut that shit out!

I'm just so proud of everyone especially for Chowon, Kyungsoo and Heesoo. They definitely did the right thing. I just don't get why some hate on Heesoo and Kyungsoo. I mean, how can one tolerate abuse?

I think people are projecting onto Chowon cuz they are seeing his mental illness and feeling bad that he doesn't have anyone to rely on... It's sad of course, and no one DESERVES that, but no one deserves abuse either.

But they're seeing attacks on Chowon as attacks on people suffering mental illness...not attacks on abuse. It's why I keep getting involved in the comments section trying to remind people that Chowon isn't innocent, and needs to keep working to better himself. Which I am SOOOO happy he started doing this chapter!!! I've been waiting for it so much!!! I don't want him to be sad and alone, I want him to stop abusing people, and try to right his wrongs! Cuz no matter how "successful" he is at changing himself, what matters is that he's trying to.

Chowon, no doubt, deserve happiness. I mean, everyone does, right? But we can't ignore the reality that he did a mistake but we can definitely support Chowon if he steps out and I'm just so proud he did! We are not invalidating his struggles instead, we are letting him learn that he isn't all alone in this world because he will have Kyungsoo by his side as long as he opens up.

I didn't even CONDEMN Chowon, and you're here trying to nitpick me for things I'm RIGHT about in order to defend him from my...appreciating his growth?

Abusive: (Adj.) Engaging in or characterized by habitual violence and cruelty.

Chowon tried to have Heesoo raped. Expressly ordered it. Told the guys he'd pay them triple. Relook at chapter 65 if you're going to deny that. Even if we exclude the leg breaking incident thanks to Chowon's unreliable narrative defense of it - he stalked Heesoo, and paid men off to rape him. All out of jealousy. This is. Abuse.

I am not saying Chowon doesn't deserve love. I'm not saying he should suffer his whole life because of what he has done. But he has done terrible things, and they CAN'T be denied. He has to keep working to heal himself AND make up for the pain he caused others. By being ABUSIVE.

I've seen my friends abused by manipulative people like Chowon. Your comment is not only wrong, it's extremely unappreciated as it undermines the validity of the abuse they have suffered.

So, please, think before leaving a comment like this. And then, don't leave it.
