Most isekai novels with a similar plot kind of forgives the these princes way too easily, it's refreshing to see Lariett hold a grudge against him and thinking these intrusive thoughts. Also the fact that she says "why couldn't you have been born a monster" just that the prince isn't the killer she hates yet but he has already done the crimes against her is messing with her head.
