I also cried the first time I read this story. You're right: it's very touching. The thing I like the most in this story is that the romance also deals with the financial problems of Naboru's family and the difficulty to pay food and the others things.

It's rare to see that and yet, unfortunately, it exists in real life so it's good to see that in a yaoi. It makes the plot more poignant.
