So I’m happy that for the new chapter we didn’t get to see Jihwa and No name having sex with no screen time for the protagonists or something like that. But, for what actually happened to the main pair, I’m just.... Oh man. Nakyum sadly felt into that one cliche route of deciding to not clear up a misunderstanding and suffering because of it, the same as when he didn’t defend himself to the end when Jihwa ruined his painting. I know that Nakyum is naive and that he’s scared, but this time it’s getting really hard for me to not feel utterly annoyed by him. His lack of wit or just plain common sense to tell the truth in a situation like that is astonishing. Sorry, but that whole hysterical crying instead of defending himself really stopped being cute. Even if he feared telling on Jihwa (I mean for gods sake he’s gotta know it’s him because of his voice, but even if he doesn’t know, the point is still the same) he could say he was kidnapped and explain everything. He’s already back at the mansion, he doesn’t see that Seungho would protect him and even avenge him. I see people getting angry at Seungho, it’s also true that he didn’t believe the evidences of Nakyum not running away even when the servant and the doctor said it, but Nakyum is also at fault for choosing to not explain properly what happened. I don’t think people noble for having a martyr complex. In crude words, I think they’re dumb, and Nakyum with this whole choosing to suffer instead of talking properly really annoyed me. The development they were having went several steps backwards with this misunderstanding, and I fear it won’t get better until Seungho knows the truth. A truth that, going by Nakyum’s attitude, will not come to light by his mouth. Guess we’ll be seeing a lot of psycho Seungho and uselessly crying Nakyum on the next chapters. Honestly, I’m almost cheering for Min or In Hun to come back and do something evil to help set things in motion to help them clear the misunderstanding. At this point external actions will be necessary to get the protagonists heads out of the gutter. In advance for anyone who got offended by what I said about Nakyum: I still like him and will be accompanying his journey, but still, to love a character doesn’t mean you have to agree to all his actions. For this time, I definitely think Nakyum did very, veeeery wrong.
