Agreed, once it got to the point where he was willing to kill his brother and almost killing a child to spite the main character. I lost sympathy because of his upbringing and family issues

Ok, I believe you all forgot but Sangmin was sending "red flags" since highschool. The bullying, the drink he gave to Jinhyun...He NEVER actually liked Jinhyun. His "friendship" wasn't genuine from the start. He killed his brother just because he was better than him. He sabotaged that blood bag and almost killed that child. He ran Jinhyun over with tbe car.
Also, when Jinhyun wanted to transfer to dermatology, Sangmin stopped him by sending the wrong informations. He kept Jinhyun there and then he's the one crying 'cause he's better than him.
I had hope for him at first too, but not anymore. I'm not even pitying him, just because he grew up in a bad environment that doesn't excuse the fact that he actually murdered someone and that he's clearly insane.
He deserves to be in jail and nothing less.
