It seems to depend on which story you are reading. I've read some omegaverse stories where the alpha can have as many partners as they want, and some where the marking affects both the alpha and the omega. In those stories, the alpha won't react to any omega's pheromones that isn't his pair. It hasn't been clearly stated which direction the author will be going in this story, but I believe it will be the second one. When Doyun's heat hit and Eunsoo called his alpha to give them a ride home, Eunsoo's alpha didn't get affected by Doyun's heat pheromones. That makes me believe the marking in this story will go both ways and affect both the omega and alpha.
