We are probably getting the second ml, to confuse us, for a love triangle, for more drama. But the endgame is fixed.

even at the start there weren't any spoilers that said Izana was endgame for it to change...? at least for me, i didn't read any spoiler saying they were endgame. but i do get where you are coming from. sometimes i tend to think too far than the authors when theorizing. XDD

By the way, the western comic "lets play" is relationship goals. Any human relationships. So healthy and supportive. With different characters and issues and a lot of healthy growth. I really recoment it, although it isn't finished and it is unknown if it will ever be.
