Time for the painter to get beaten and probably raped again because the Lord has the brain of a 12 year old! At this point its just getting old, I get its historical and all but god damn. Its becoming unappealing to readers.
Edit: If you personally enjoy the rape scenes and/or clearly abusive relationship, great, didn’t ask, don’t reply to me saying that you do because you’re just outting yourself as a freak.
