This is why the decision should be head and heart. Not family pushing. Not just lust.
Don't marry mama's boys, like the husband here who lets his wife suffer to make mom happy.
Don't stay with cheaters unless they are willing to go to counseling and repent and work on the marriage.
Don't go along with things that violate your conscience, like the Female Lead. She let herself be persuaded by two men, even as she felt bad about it. BIG RED SIGNAL.
There are many good men and good marriages. But it never hurts to read up and learn about the types of behavior in men that signal problems.
And my parents ask me why I still don't want to get married.
