You think Umayado should have been with the guy who raped him? It sucks, but back then they didn't really have the choice but to take a bride and have successors. It would've been nice if Emishi and Umayado got lovey dovey at least once though.

Well. Marring a 10 years old girl wouldnt be that weird at that time. At first, I thought the marriage is just another way to adopt that little girl. But obviously I was wrong, when he took off her clothes. It was weird.(￣∇￣") I still like the manga though.
Emishi and Umayado did sleep with each other once. On the first night of Umayado and the princess 's marriage, he teleported himself to Emishi' room and they did it. (But later Emishi thought it was just a dream(〜￣△￣)〜)
But first before reading this you must remember it's based on the real history and people, Umayado die earlier than Emishi(I guess) and Emishi died by suicide

This manga was ...er...good...but too , too tragic. Things did not end well for our "ice-queen" uke umayado at all :( I feel that Emishi does not deserve Umayado - dude ended up sleeping with and having 2 kids with two girls despite saying "I love umayado" the whole time. He simply cannot accept that he could be in love with a man. He was fickle with his love.
Umayado meanwhile stayed faithful to Emishi and was only in love with him. Tai Tsuin took advantage of when Umayado was depressed over Emishi and XXXX him. Personally, I think Umayado should have gone with Tai Tsuin. Umayado ended up marrying some random crazy 10 years old he found - as a sort of dummy bride. Very weird ending
