Well, I do understand what you mean, but I think some of the points are arguable:
1. Sex isn't sth you only do when you are happy or have lust. There are people or situations where people have sex on sad days like the day of a funeral, because they feel sad or loney and want to feel warmth. But nevertheless from the fl's point of view it's wrong to sleep with the bf of her cousin on the day of the funeral. As for the ml he should have told her, as you mentioned.
2. I don't see anything wrong with going out of one's way to get breakfast for the partner. Like isn't that sth you would might want to do for your partner regardless of gender?

1) if he was not the cousin's lover he should have told her so before having sex in the day of HER FUNNERAL!! No wonder everyone thinks both are trash
2) FL is pathetic, intelligent but really dumb for and Oxford professor, also subservient much? Got into and accident to prepare breakfast for him? Prepare it together! You are NOT HIS MOM!!
3) HE LITERALLY MANIPULATED YOUR ENVIROMENT TO CORNER YOU!!
4) I worry for the kid and how he accepts strangers that easily
