It's like they're trying to implement their concept of art in yours through academic and social intimidations or whatnot.... what's the point of making 'your own art' if they're looking at the piece only in their own perspectives right? Is 'Art is an artist's expression of blahblah' only applicable in discussions, not in actual scenarios?
God I fucking hate art critiques and introductions. I could literally FEEL the humiliation that yatora felt. That’s why I stopped pursuing art academically.... I never felt that originality in my own work and always envied those with their own sense. I think yatora is the same... it’s one thing to be “technically” good at art, art that fits the academic profile. But it’s different to actually “make” art, art that can stand by itself and has a purpose. I’m excited to see how yatora will grow... his doubts in his own talents will push him to unbelievable limits. Can’t wait to live vicariously through him
