it's kinda good to know that the emperor doesn't understand what pain is, i mean, now we know why he lacks empathy. doesn't justify his atrocious acts but somehow explains why he did all those things cold-bloodedly. coz it is more infuriating when you know that the character actually understands the pain they're inflicting to others and yet couldn't care less about it. i hope this development continues smoothly. i want them to be happy in this lifetime, may it be together or not. i just want them to be released from this unending loop of suffering.
