Really I thought that the princess was actually going to marry the Crown Prince cuz that would explain why the queen wants them to get close. After all they're not related by blood, the princess is a bastard.

I was wondering what he meant when he said that he will fill in her weakness.....That does seem like a hell of an emotional ride (￣ε(#￣)Σ Well, I would question him what is so important that he hurts the MC like that if I didn't read this spoiler. I meant like, I don't doubt his feelings for the MC. I just might feel suspicious of how he expresses it (￣∇￣") Thank you for the spoiler....otherwise I might not be able to hold on in that emotional coaster ride ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Actually, Emel wasn't expecting her love either after doing all those stuff to her....I was really confused, why was Emel sooo confident that MC would hate him for the rest of his life after he left.

I mean like, isn't it just leaving to become a marquise and, later, asking for her hand in marriage. But with this spoiler, I understood WHY Emel is confident that MC will hate him for the rest of her life.

But, he doesn't want MC to be in danger. Therefore, he is willing to sacrifice that mutual feeling they had for each other(one that hasn't ran too deep since they haven't dated and stuff) for her happiness (in terms of family's future) and safety.

I mean like, he could have just ignored trying to get MC's happiness and safety. Thus, selfishly indulge in his feelings for MC but that is just NOT Emel (He was a knight and all so his way of expressing his love is by taking down her obstacles). He is still selfish in another way when he one-sidedly decided to sacrifice their mutual feelings. Well, in the end, since it became like in the spoiler, he didn't have to sacrifice it.

Sorry...I was on Emel's side ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ Did I sound contradicting on the part where I said about him being selfish? Well, that was actually based on what happened in the story:

MC said she would rather die for her loved one than to see them die before her. So, she considered herself selfish. Even though she died FOR a loved one.

So my point is: it is similar in a way where he (Emel) selfishly, one-sidedly decided on something for a loved one's own good. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
