I think it was because when he was in the past and wearing the bracelet it made him look more like the dad since his mom said the dad used to always wear it and that’s another reason the red haired lady thought it was the father
the author rly said "i'm tired let's end this story". there are so many questionable moments — like why did they showed the snake bracelet without giving us backstory? BUT i love the ending.
