agree with everything. i also feel the first ending is better, but then the author make a side story which turn him back to human and get his memories back... mmm~~~ hope taeho don't repeat his stupid mistake and hurt eunwoo anymore~~
Long post. Don't mind to reply me. It just my thoughts.
1st- TAEHO IS SELFISH (he don't want both of them die in tragic so he must not let eunwoo fall in love. He knew eunwoo loved him so much and make eunwoo hurt badly in hoping he will move on. But when eunwoo was trying to forget taeho, he then will appear make him fall again. How is this not a torture for eunwoo? The easy method is JUST CUT THE TIES, NO SEX, NO TALK, BE STRANGERS! but taeho didn't do that but choose to play around so eunwoo would hurt and leave. You know but you still tho. What can you achieve with playing with his heart? It just hurt.
2nd- EUNWOO UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
Eunwoo who already live his life hurt more than enough choose to be the one who die. WHY? Coz' he already feel pain enough. Pain of unrequited love. Pain to be ignored. How can he live when the one he loved die? He doesn't want that. Live without his love already pain, taeho death would be the same of his death. How can he be happy. Taeho must taste how eunwoo used to felt when he hurt him. He deserve this.
3rd- the alternate ending. Tbh, i think the author make the 1st ending which eunwoo became a mermaid without memory of taeho. I like the ending. Second ending is the sequel. You can see how it rush and out of nowhere eunwoo suddenly become a human again. Well not all fans love tragic ending so, yeah!
Lastly- you can't see the future. If you can't avoid love, then be in love. Fill the love. If someday you lost it, at least the beautiful memories of yours will remain without unnecessary drama (that's what i felt from the message of 1st ending).
