I KNOW RIGHTTT. I would have dropped reading this if it werent for jesse and andym i love them noth so much. I also lile chase but joel just urghhh. I dont like himmm. It's like, he wasnt really even trying to resolve the things between him and his son. I feel so sad for jesse in that aspect.
He goes to another guy (a fckin minor??) instead of his son when he was having trouble and stuff grrr. I would have loved to see chase love someone else

okay so i loved the relationship between andy and jesse but seriously what the fuck were they thinking when writing the 2nd couple? like i honesly hated it and had to fight the urge not to just skip reading to the end while reading about them. first of all joel is 17 years older than chase and to add to the fact chase is the same age as HIS SON. holy shit dude i get that some people think its hot or whatever but no its seriously wrong, the grown man didnt even put effort into rebuilding the relationship or for that fact building any sort of meaningful relationship with his son outside of trying to control him and what he does, like i get he tried to provide for him and stuff but the emotional neglect is too much to ignore. and then he goes and fucks his son's friend who is the same age? imagine how his son felt after being so neglected for so long for his father to give all the love to some random high schooler. very dissapointed. :///
