I agree. I wouldn’t interfere. You’ve got one person smart enough to be on a track where that trolley at that time, doesn’t go. You have 5 people dumb enough to walk on an active track. Who am I to make the choice to kill that one person. Whether fate is decided by one’s own actions or some higher entity, it’s still not my decision.
For the trolly question, honestly if it came down to it, I would just walk away. I know what people would say about that, but I know I wouldn’t be able to handle to pressure of that problem, so I would just leave, I wouldn’t get involved. I wouldn’t push the man, but I won’t actively choose the other people over him. And yeah I know what kinda person that makes me.
