Bro you dont remember your friends birthday but he doesnt remember his lover s birthday like you cant put friends and lover at the same level just like you cant put family and friends at the same level
I mean even my dad doesn't remember my birthday, I don't think that it is unusual. It's sad but it's not the end of the world.
Also, just want to add, at the end of the day, if lovers are serious, they will become family anyway. Probably I'm traditional, so I think my parents are closer to me and more important, if they can't remember my birthday, I don't expect other people to remember.

I honestly, I know birthday is important but at the same it's not. I always remember my parents birthday but I don't remember my most of best friend's birthdays and most of them don't even remember mine, even worst, my dad and brother don't remember my birthday either. I guess at certain point in your life, birthday is not that special anymore, it's just another day, another occassion. OFC, I would be thrilled if people remember, but if they don't I understand. At the end of the day, we all have too many things on our minds. I think Asahi is very stressed and has too many things in his mind. He has his father to worry about, his business and also I know he is very self-conscious about the "unable to have a baby" thingy.
