To me this webtoon has been written poorly but it was given a 9.6 so the problem must lie ...

i think its pretty good, like not the best but not average

maybe u just dont dig the art? its pretty different from other styles (i think its pretty though.) so the vibes u feel kinda off, i was like that after the first few

As far as writing structure, this is pretty good. The characterization is flat. But that's the rest is pretty good. What did you find bad about the writing?

The popularity could be put down to the unique plot and drama, as well as Shuli being unfazable. She's a clever protagonist.

It's also looking to be very unlikely that Shuli will end up with the prince, which is always a welcome change from standard isekai.

Basically, Shuli's entire intention here is to be a proper mother and head of house. She's also trying to keep the fortune safe so she can pass it back to the kids when they reach adulthood. In her previous life, she did well with the finances but she had nothing to do with the kids. So when it was all over, she had no family.

Tbh, I think Shuli would have been pretty happy in her original life. I don't think there was any reason why she would be more satisfied with her current one. She would have likely lived free and happy, starting from scratch. Fallen in love with someone, maybe had kids of her own.

So I don't consider this the 'good' timeline. Just another timeline.

Shuli is at least understandable. The person I don't understand is the weird old asshole who decided a child would make a good mother. Was he just a pedo and didn't live long enough to molest her?
