I'm looking for this BL. I think it was about this grandpa telling his grandchild about his first love and (I think) it took place during the time of some war (prob WW2 or maybe the Vietnam war idk). I'm also pretty sure the grandpa was like Asian and the other guy was white and if not I'm pretty sure it was an interracial relationship.
