It's because they don't let their anxieties and troubles fester into something worse especially if it's a matter that they can discuss and work together on as a couple. Most shoujo characters have a tendency to stew over their thoughts and worries when a simple question could have fixed it and sometimes it irks me to no end that the characters can't just sit down this one time during lunch break and hash it out, if you know what I mean? hahaha
That's why I also like romances with more mature characters.
I love how this couple solve their problems without too much drama. ( ´ ▽ ` )
